Frequently asked questions

Suppliers and pricing
Do I need my own supplier accounts?
Yes, and that is deliberate. You connect your own supplier credentials, so every price and every stock figure you see is what your account is actually entitled to. The supplier invoices you directly on the terms you negotiated.
It also means we are never in the middle of your supplier relationship. Nothing about your account changes because you started using us.
Do you mark up supplier pricing?
No. We show you the price your account gets, including sale pricing when a promotion is running, and we take nothing off the goods.
Which suppliers are supported?
Any supplier that implements PromoStandards, which covers most of the major apparel and hard goods suppliers. Each one exposes a slightly different set of services, so what you can do varies a little by supplier.
If a supplier you rely on is missing, tell us and we will look at what it takes to add them.
Is my pricing visible to anyone else?
No. Your supplier pricing, your margins, and your customer list are never shown to a decorating partner, another distributor, or anyone else on the platform. Partners see what they are being paid for their work and nothing about what you charged.
Plans, trials, and seats
How does the free plan work?
It is a real plan, not a countdown. One user, three connected suppliers, and no expiry. You can search products and see your real supplier pricing and live inventory.
Customers, artwork, ordering, estimates, and purchase orders are Business features. The free plan is for seeing your numbers; the trial is for running real jobs.
How does the Business trial work?
Every new workspace starts with the full Business feature set, free for 60 days. Run real orders, submit real POs, use the decorator network.
When the trial ends you keep everything you built, read-only where it exceeds the free plan, and it all comes back the moment you upgrade. Need more time to evaluate? Ask us and a human will extend it.
How is Business billed?
Ninety-nine dollars per month for the first user and forty-nine per month for each additional user, billed annually.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing gets deleted. If you drop to a plan with lower limits, anything over the limit becomes read-only rather than disappearing, and it comes back the moment you upgrade again.
Orders, purchase orders, estimates, and invoices are business records. We keep those on every plan, including the free one.
Can I export my data?
Your data is yours, on every plan including free. A self-serve export is not built yet; until it is, ask support and we send you your orders, customers, and artwork. We will never hold your data to keep you subscribed.
Orders and decoration
How do purchase orders reach the supplier?
Electronically, through the supplier PromoStandards service, on your credentials. Before anything is sent we validate it against that supplier rules, check stock, and assign the warehouse each line should ship from.
Who decorates my orders?
Whoever you choose. You pick a shop while building the order, either one of your own or a member of our network, and you see their rates before you quote the job.
Network shops are filtered by capability and by whether they have capacity in the week your job needs to run, so the list only shows shops that can actually take it. Nothing is committed until the shop accepts.
Can I keep using my own decorator?
Yes, and nothing changes about that relationship. They receive a purchase order by email with the artwork attached, and you pay them as you always have.
The difference is that the artwork reaching them is production ready, and the order stays tracked here rather than in your inbox.
Do you take a cut of the decoration?
No. You pay the decorator directly at the price they set. We are not in the middle of that payment and we take nothing from it.
Art services are the exception: digitizing, vectorizing, separations, and cleanup are billed by us, because we manage that work.
Will my customer know who decorated the goods?
No. Shipments go out blind, with your branding on the label and packing slip. The decorator never appears to your customer and your customer relationship stays yours.
What if my customer has their own shipping account?
Use it. Carrier accounts can live on your company or on an individual customer profile, and the shipment bills to whichever account applies.
No account on file for a carrier? The label goes on SupplierLive's account and is billed to you at the carrier rate plus 5%, so a decorator holding your finished goods is never stuck.
What if my artwork is not print ready?
Most artwork that arrives from a customer is not. Art gets reviewed before it reaches a decorator, and when it needs digitizing, vectorizing, color separation, or cleanup, that work is handled and the finished file is saved against the customer.
The next order using the same logo at the same size reuses that file at no extra cost.
Working with us
I am a decorator. How do I join the network?
There is a page for you with the details, including what membership costs and how you get paid. Members set their own rates and are paid directly by the distributor.
See the decorators page, or get in touch and we will walk you through applying.
I provide art services. Is there a place for me?
Yes, and it works differently from decorating. Digitizing, vectorizing, color separation, and cleanup are managed by us: we take the work in, set the rate, and pay you for it.
Get in touch and tell us what you specialise in.
